We were watching this in spanish class. I've never seen this before and my teacher say most of the dialogue are "walle" and "eve" so it would be easy to understand it in spanish. And it was cute and funny. That Walle got some sense of humor.

Jewel in the Palace

This was my first historic korean drama and I absolutely enjoyed watching it.

MYSOJU SUM:
About 500 years ago during the time of Chosun Dynasty, Korea boasted a rigidly hierarchical and male dominated social structure. Set in this period, "Jewel in the Palace" is based on a true story about a legendary girl (Jang-Geum) who became the first woman to be the supreme royal
physician of her times. Despite her poor condition as a low class girl in the male dominated society, Jang-Geum overcame a series of social discrimination and landed herself as a royal cook, later becoming the royal physician, then ultimately the physician in charge of the king. She was even given by the king the title "The Great Jang-Geum". The story of her checkered life on her success and breakdown as well as her love story beautifully unfold. "Jewel in the Palace" is sure to touch your heart.

New Tales of the Gisaeng depicts the love, sadness and pain of people surrounding a gisaeng house, where only VIPs can enter.

Dan Sa Ran majored in dance while attending college. Her mother died when she was still young and her father remarried. Sa Ran comes from a poor family, but she maintains her dignity around friends who come from rich families. By chance, she meets Da Mo and falls for him, but doesn’t tell him because of her poor background. A head gisaeng at Buyongkak recommended her to become a gisaeng.

Ah Da Mo takes business administration training at his father’s company. He does not get along with his father, who only shows affection towards their pet dog. Da Mo is cocky and tends to look down on women. When he meets Sa Ran by chance, their relationship begins.

Cinderella's Sister

Eun-Ju (Moon Geun-Young), who lost her father many years ago, finally gets a new family when her mother remarries. Although things seem to have turn better for the cynical Eun-Ju, she immediately faces problems when she meets her new step-sister Hyo-Seon (Seo Woo). Hyo-Seon with her bright character is the apple in her father's eyes and the clear favorite in the house. Furthermore, Eun-Ju's mother also seems to have fallen for the charismatic personality of Hyo-Seon. Making matters worse for Eun-Ju, Hyo-Seon seems to like Eun-Ju's prince Ki-Hoon (Cheon Jeong-Myeong). Eun-Ju decides then and there to take matters in her own hands and exact revenge on her Cinderella like stepsister...
